Teresa Pimentel

Artist Profile

Teresa Pimentel, born in The Dominican Republic, American citizen, based in Boynton Beach, Florida, USA, she is a representational mixed media artist, she attended Palm Beach State College receiving an AA in Arts Degree, and a BA Degree from Lynn University.  She is also certified in Feng Shui and Reiki, Level 1.

Her work mainly consist of representational mixed media assemblage, depicting symbols, shapes, crystals, drawings, mirrors, gourds, metal pieces, and more. Her art is a fusion of energy, implementing her knowledge and experience in Reiki, Feng Shui, and her studies of crystal energies, by combining them into each piece of art. Her aim is to engage the body, mind and spirit to feel and receive the intended energies from each art piece.

On the creative side, Teresa self-published a Novel in 2007, The Universal Law of Attraction and Maite’s Journey, in Spanish, with English translation, both available in Amazon and Kindle Edition.

Artist Statement

My passion for writing and the arts have been part of my life for many years.  In 2003 I started creating a few pieces of art, inspired by the energy that composed the universe and us. In 2013 I started a project, “Art Energetic” with the intention of transmitting energy through my art, such as love, health, healing, mindfulness…

My concept is that our universe is energy, which is ever changing, is malleable, always expanding and contracting. So, we humans are one integral part with the universal energies.
